1. What we collect and how

We collect the following through ordinary use of the site. There is no account registration, and we operate no forms that ask you to type in your name or contact details.

• —Collected automatically: IP address (processed by Google Analytics, not stored by us), browser and operating system, device type, visit time, pages viewed, referrer, and approximate location at city level.
• —Cookies: our own cookie for remembering your language (hotbee_lang), and Google Analytics cookies for visit measurement.
• —If you email us: whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, company, and the content of your enquiry.

2. Why we process it

• —Understanding how the site is used, so we can improve it
• —Remembering your language preference
• —Answering enquiries and discussing potential work

3. How long we keep it

• —Google Analytics usage data: up to 14 months from collection
• —Language cookie (hotbee_lang): 12 months, and you can delete it in your browser at any time
• —Email enquiries: 3 years after the enquiry is closed, to keep a record of business discussions

4. Cookies, and how to refuse them

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them, though your language choice will not be remembered.

• —hotbee_lang (ours, functional): remembers your chosen language. It does not identify you.
• —_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): used to measure visitor numbers and behaviour in aggregate.

5. Processors and international transfers

We use the following processors, which means your data is transferred outside Korea. You may refuse these transfers by blocking cookies in your browser or installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

• —Google LLC (United States) — website analytics. Data: the automatically collected information in section 1. Transferred over the network when you visit. Retained up to 14 months.
• —Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) — hosting and content delivery. Data: IP address and access logs. Transferred over the network when you visit. Retained for the duration of the service.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law or where a law enforcement agency requests it through the procedures the law prescribes.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information at any time. Contact us and we will act without delay.

8. Destruction

When the retention period expires or the purpose is fulfilled, we destroy the information without delay. Electronic files are deleted by technical means that prevent recovery; printed material is shredded or incinerated.

9. Security measures

• —Access control and access logging for systems that process personal information
